My two months back home flew past, as all good vacations do. But, in the midst of my catching up with old friends, I managed to spend a fair bit of time with the Whitby Johnstons. My boys are growing up. Soon, they'll be little men. Like me!
The Santa crawl was good. Add alcohol and I'm always a party favor.
As for Ms Randall, I had mixed emotions. While I think what you are doing is very admirable, and certainly shows greater character than myself (I lack "empathy", my psychiatrist charges me a fortune to remind me), I wish you had found a partner and did the family thingy.
I also throw this offer out to you. Come to OZ, let me employ you for a few weeks, and take some time off. Maybe we'll do some site seeing while you are here. Anyway, a thought.
Other wise, I am good. Back here in OZ, in the warmth. Cafe is doing really well. It ran itself successfully while I was away, so it gives me comfort to know I can go away again. Which I might do! Maybe even Africa!
We get hugely busy from May-Sept. Then after that I don't know. I'm considering a few things. Sell everything and move back to Whitby. Open cafe and find a wife. (ya, right, wife???), or buy a place in Whitby and share my time between there and here, or who knows what else. Time will tell and I do know all things are possible.
