Where is God?

God is in the slums,
in the cardboard boxes where the poor play house.

God is in the silence of a mother who has infected
her child with a virus that will end both of their lives.

God is the cries heard under the rubble of war.

God is in the debris of opportunity and lives,
and God is with us if we are with them”

Greetings to you in Zambia! How have you been? I hope you're enjoying every day of your time there.

How are the kids at Isubilo? I was talking to Arnold the other day and he got me caught up.
And how's Sobia coming along?

There's so much I need filling in on. Keep me posted.
Love,
Zyambo

Hi Tracey,
I'm so glad you received the photos and card. Snail mail is not so bad sometimes.

We're having a strange winter - intermittent snow and cold and terrible storms with high winds. I suppose it is hot for you and is this the rainy season ? Your Mum tells me you are coming home in May. Is that for good or just a visit ?

I'm a staff advisor for a group of students in my school who learn to be leaders by raising awarenes about HIV and Aids amongst teenagers.
I often think of you and all you are doing for this cause. I should print out some of the photos you have sent me and show them.

Anyway, not much other news. And I need to ride my horses today, it's been 3 weeks. Alan thinks it's unwise because they will be too fresh and I could fall off. It's always a possibility, but a little bit of fear keeps you sharp.

Keep On Truckin'
Love,
Valerie
