Rainy season is upon us... check out the lovely creatures that visit us, here in Africa
Loads of grasshoppers and praying mantis,
they visit us at breakfast on the veranda...
at bedtime in our lodge hallway...
basically everywhere!
not liking the rain spiders at ALL!

Hi Trace: Love your blog and read it frequently. Hope its not toooooooo wet over there in this, the rainy season. I wouldn't like the rain spiders either!! Did you get my package yet? I sent it to you about 3 weeks ago - sent airmail.
Take care of yourself - go well my friend. Luv Cath XX
Hello Tracey- Greetings from the US. It is difficult to believe that we have been home for more than 2 weeks already. It just seems like we are doomed to getting off planes and being bombarded with "to do" items waiting. How are you doing? Have you been able to focus on some of the strategic planning and business plan for SOBIA? I know you will bring a lot of insight and good ideas for how the ministries can be more effective and get greater results. How is little Mary doing? We have the wonderful photo with you and her and it reminds us of the real life and death balance in Koloka and the surrounding areas. Also the knowledge of how vital a ministry like SOBIA and Isubilo are to the people of Ndola. God's love through very tangible expressions of His grace by His people. I got to meet Kristi and Shannon last week. What a delight to meet some more people who have served at Isubilo and Lifespring. Well, gotta go. Just wanted to check in, say hi and let you know we are thinking about you and praying for you. Blessings Scott Pederson Willow Creek Community Church
I'm here in Zambia out of a deep passion and a sense of calling. My work in Africa is completely voluntary. If you want to make a tangible contribution to my role here, you can make a donation through Project Hope (tax receipts issued). My sponsorship letter has more details.
